A watch is always at high risk of external damage, as it can easily be snagged, wet, or even dropped in the course of daily activities. It is therefore the owner's responsibility to take care of it and protect it.

95% of breakages are not due to manufacturing defects *
Our warranty is for 12 months from the date of purchase.
What the warranty does cover:
• manufacturing defects existent at the time of the purchase;
• mecanism;
• crown;
• fastener;
What the warranty does not cover:
• Wood : Being a natural materiel which reacts to change in tempeture, humidity, etc, it is impossible to predict is reaction;
• normal wear or natural deterioration (strap, link, buckle, crown);
• battery life;
• loss or theft;
• damage due to negligence;
• damage resulting from accidents (cuts, cracks, broken link, etc.);
• damage resulting from incorrect use of the watch;
• damage caused during battery replacement;
• damage caused by a third party during a repair;
damage due to incorrect tool use when adjusting the strap;
• the glass (scratches);
• damage caused by water (see CONTACT WITH WATER).
Rustic-Tac reserves the right to honor the warranty by providing a new item or by repairing the manufacturing defect, free of charge. In the event that your watch cannot be repaired, or that the model is no longer available, we will replace it with a model of the same or of a lesser price.

If the watch is worn only occasionally, we recommend that you treat it with a small amount of linseed oil, twice a year, to preserve the wood.
WARRANTY ON WOODEN SUNGLASSES
Sunglasses Warranty:
Rustic-Tac guarantees that the product purchased is free from manufacturing defects due to faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover scratches on the lenses, damage resulting from an accident, misuse or improper storage of the product, unauthorized repairs or modifications, and normal wear and tear.
Claim: Proof of purchase will be required to validate the warranty. Depending on the problem, the defective frame or part will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Rustic-Tac.
WARRANTY FOR TUNGSTEN AND WOOD RINGS
Tungsten is exceptionally strong, hypoallergenic, and highly resistant to scratching and tarnishing. It is perfect for someone with an active lifestyle.
The wood insert has been treated with a process called electrolysis to ensure strength.
Rustic-Tac offers a lifetime warranty on its tungsten and wooden rings.
What the warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear or natural deterioration,
- Loss or theft,
- Damage due to negligence,
- Damage due to accidents (nicks, cracks, broken links, etc.),
- Inappropriate use of the ring.
ROCKWOOD RING WARRANTY
To preserve the natural look of walnut, the wood in the ROCKWOOD collection has not been treated. ROCKWOOD rings are not water resistant so you must remove your ring to wash your hands, take a shower, etc.
Rustic-Tac offers a 3-month warranty on ROCKWOOD rings for any manufacturing defects.
What the warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear or natural deterioration,
- Loss or theft,
- Damage due to negligence,
- Damage resulting from accidents (nicks, cracks, broken links, etc.),
- Inappropriate use of the ring,
- Damage caused by water.
Rustic-Tac reserves the right to honor the warranty with a new item or with a repair to the manufacturing defect, free of charge. In the event that your ring cannot be repaired, or that your model is no longer available, we will replace it with a model of an equal or lower price.
Step 2. A technician from our shop will evaluate your repair request and contact you with one of the following answers:
- It is a warranty repair (free of charge),
- It's a regular repair ($30 to $40 + shipping),
- It is a custom repair (rate to be determined),
- This model is discontinued and impossible to repair.
From there, you will be able to make the appropriate decision. Please note that, If you send us the watch for repairs, the shipping costs are your responsibility.
Step 3. The watch will be repaired and/or returned within 30 days of our receiving it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Each wooden watch is made from unique trees. Variation in color and species of wood is to be expected and should be considered acceptable by the customer.
